CSV files · drop several at once (spot and derivatives)

Your file never leaves this browser. It is read and calculated on your device — nothing is uploaded, stored or sent to us.

Sample data is synthetic: Spot trade history · Closed P&L

Bybit shows you P&L. It doesn't show you the whole picture.

The exchange shows a number. Your bank shows another.

Exchange P&L screens mix unrealised moves, funding and transfers. What you actually locked in is buried in thousands of fills.

Fees eat more than you think

Maker, taker, funding, fees charged in BNB or in the coin you bought. Add them up once and the “winning” month often isn't.

Three exchanges, three spreadsheets

Every venue exports a different file with different columns and date formats. Matching buys to sells across them by hand takes a weekend.

The tax deadline doesn't move

US returns are due in April, UK Self Assessment in January. Knowing your realised gain early is the difference between a plan and a panic.

Exchanges write the column names in the language your account is set to. Keep it on English when you export — the tool reads the English column names.

How to export your Bybit trade history

Bybit gives you a separate file for spot fills and for closed derivatives positions. Drop both for the full picture — the tool reads them together.

Spot trade history

Every spot fill with price, quantity and fee. Use this for spot P&L.

  1. 01

Log in on bybit.com and open Orders → Unified Trading Order.
  2. 02

Choose Spot, then the Trade History tab (not Order History).
  3. 03

Click Export, pick the time range (up to 6 months per file, within the last 2 years) and confirm with Export Now.
  4. 04

Download the CSV and drop it above. Repeat for earlier periods if you need them.

Derivatives Closed P&L

One row per closed position, after fees. Use this for futures and perpetuals.

  1. 01

Open Orders → Unified Trading Order and choose Futures (Derivatives).
  2. 02

    Open the Closed P&L tab.
  3. 03

Click Export, select All contracts and the time range, then Export Now.
  4. 04

Download the CSV and drop it above together with your spot file.

Transaction log (optional)

Every balance change including funding. Use it instead of the two files above if you prefer one export.

  1. 01

Open Assets → Unified Trading Account → History Records.
  2. 02

Choose Transaction Log and click Export.
  3. 03

Pick the date range (up to 6 months) and click Export Now.
  4. 04

Download the CSV and drop it above.
  • Bybit limits Orders-page exports to 6 months per file and 10,000 rows, with a daily cap on the number of exports.
  • For up to 12 months in one file, use Account → Data Export. It arrives by email as a zip of CSV files — unzip it and drop the CSVs.
  • Fees paid in MNT are listed separately and not converted to USD.

Questions

Is my trade history uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is read and calculated entirely in your browser with JavaScript. Nothing is uploaded, stored or sent to TheCryptoHub, and you can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it still works.

Which Bybit files does it read?

The spot Trade History export, the derivatives Closed P&L export and the Unified Trading Account transaction log, as CSV. Order History is not enough — it lists orders, not the fills your P&L is made of. Drop several files at once to combine spot and derivatives.

How is the P&L calculated?

Buys and sells are matched first-in, first-out (FIFO) per asset, with fees added to the cost of buys and taken off the proceeds of sells. Derivatives use the realised P&L the exchange reports per closed position. USD and USD stablecoins are counted 1:1; other quote currencies are shown separately, never converted.

Why does it say I sold more than I bought?

An export only covers the dates you picked, and coins you deposited were bought somewhere else. Sales with no matching buy in the file are flagged and left out of the total instead of being counted as pure profit.

Is this a Bybit tax calculator for the UK?

It shows your realised P&L, fees and holding periods — the raw numbers behind a UK return — but HMRC requires share matching (same day, 30 days, then the section 104 pool), not FIFO, so the taxable gain can differ. A TheCryptoHub account builds the UK report with HMRC matching across all your exchanges.

What does an account add?

Your result is saved, more exchanges are linked automatically, and the official tax report is generated for your country. TheCryptoHub connects exchanges with read-only or trade keys — never withdrawal keys — so it can never move your funds.

Your P&L is not your tax bill

This result uses FIFO on one file. Your country decides how gains are matched, which holding periods count and what is taxed at all. Read the guides on our blog before you file.
